Komedia brochure - February 1995As a company, jgdesigns has worked largely, but not exclusively, for the entertainment industry, designing print and creating web sites. From stationery, glossy brochures, flyers and banners to shop fronts and corporate identity. And from personal web pages promoting charitable events to medium-sized businesses wanting to sell theatre tickets and merchandise.

In my capacity as Administrator at Komedia, I started designing for print in the early 90s. At the beginning I produced all of the in-house publicity, but then in 1995, I took over the design of the venue's brochure (pictured right). At about the same time I also diversified into new media design and, from modest beginnings, I took over the design and maintenance of the Komedia website. Gradually, as commissions from other companies grew I took the decision to go freelance and in August 1997 formed jgdesigns.
